Dr. Sahar Nadimi discusses the uses, results, and prevalence of BOTOX Cosmetic in plastic surgery. She commonly performs injections to help patients eliminate signs of aging such as crows' feet and forehead lines. Her extensive experience and keen eye for detail allow her to inject BOTOX Cosmetic in locations that offer the most dramatic results.
Botox is an FDA-approved neuromodulator used to treat and smooth fine lines and wrinkles associated with facial movement. It is the most common procedure performed in facial plastic surgery offices. And oftentimes, it's used to treat the lines on the forehead, in between the eyebrows, and around the eyes, the so-called crow's feet. Treating the crow's feet does allow for up to 4 millimeters of eyebrow elevation, also known as the nonsurgical brow lift. And Botox injections are very easy to perform and effects usually occur at about two to three days and last for about four to six months.
